Postby bo12ed » Tue Aug 10, 2004 12:52 pm

I have the antivirus AVG. I`ve ran complete scans many times but these 3 trojans wont go away. It says that it is emmbeded into a file or something. I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of them? thanks in advance.

Have you tried looking on symantec.com for specific tools for removing those trojans? Or have you tried another AntiVirus?

You have the sasser worm and I think a variant of the netsky virus. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... .list.html for your removal tools.

Norton Antivirus has a built in tool, that if it detects a virus and can't remove it, if has a "click here for more info" link that takes you to Symantec's tool page for your exact virus to tell you how to remove it. So I rec. Norton.
