Undeletable icon

A friend of mine recently downloaded some info for a school project and ended up with an icon on his desktop that he is unable to delete and goes by the name of con.HARDCORE SEX WITH myself XXX LOLITA QWERTY ddoggprn anal pussy penis suck d*ck vagina asshole orgy asia asian lesbo dildo (2)(1)(1)(1)
We are totally baffled as to how to remove this and anything that it may have planted on his system. Spyware programs don't pick it up, nor does anti virus software and any help would be appreciated.

Use a program like Spybot Search & Destroy

It won't allow you to delete it, stating that access is denied. Spybot, Adaware and Spysweeper couldn't pick it up either.

i'm not sure if this will work but when you go to the task manager and click "processes" look for something that is similar to the name of the icon. If you find it click on it and end process. then try to delete it. Make sure that you end the right one though

So he was downloading underage porn on his computer, the "LOLITA" gave it away, you don't get these things from just downloading homework info, you then have a very sick "friend".

Alt+Ctrl+Del and end Explorer then click New Task>cmd>the cd to your desktop via "cd C:\Documents and Settings\Bogdan\Desktop" but put your own url for your computer then once youv cded go to the icon and rename then Copy and Past the the title in to the command line but include a "del "filename" and it should work then if you want restart

sounds liek a registry hack, you will ahve to download a registry sweeper and find the registry file to delete it.

You could always try booting up in safemode, and getting rid of it, and any files associated with it that way. I'd do that, then reboot in safe mode again, and then scan for virus/spyware using a trusty program before returning to normal boot procedures.
