installing windows xp pro problems

Postby joe2006 » Sat Jul 19, 2008 3:04 pm

I started having a bunch of problems on my computer with the internet not loading pages, programs crashing, and a few errors. i tried to reinstall my Windows XP Pro and everything went just fine until it restarted. It began loding then stopped when it was 'verifying dmi pool data' and keeps getting stuck there no matter what I do. I've tried formating all my disks, reboting many time, and tried to reinstall Windows on all off my hardrive to see if that would solve the problem but it didn't. Does anyone know what to do?

However, Vista isn't really recommended because it runs slowly on older computers.
