Switching Windows

Postby MrsSue66 » Sat May 31, 2008 2:45 pm

I was wondering if someone here could answer a question for me.
I am currently using Windows XP Professional. I have been told by a few people its not really advisable to switch to Vista. I should keep using XP.

Any suggestions?

Don't listen to the post above. You can have a dual boot system between XP and Vista. However, Vista isn't really recommended because it runs slowly on older computers and there's really nothing special about it.

It is True that We can Have Dual Operating System but In my System, I Experimented with Windows Vista and Windows XP. Lastly What happen after seven or eight Days, My Vista Files Corrupted. Also, the Same Problem Happens When you have
Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional as Dual Operating System. Believe me, it happens many times.

Your ? isn't being answered right. You havn't indicated dual boot
of Vista and XP,just dumping XP and going Vista.
Stay with XP and do all updates like IExplorer 7 and SP3.
If you can afford it then just do a Vista install to see what it's like.
You can go back to just XP if your not happy.
1 or the other.
Dual boot is more for an XP and W98 system for older software.

Skip Vista and get Windows 7! I definitely prefer it to XP

Windows Vista is one of the bad choice and operating system i ever used. do not install windows vista. if you wanna change your operator system you must try windows 7 if supported by your system.

You can use dual operating systems at your computer, but vista is not suitable for the users with older configuration, it will make your machine slow.
