strange question for you guys...

lets say i want to power more than 4 (HDDs, CD/DVD drives) in my computer but my power supply only has 4 power slots/plugs for there anyway for me to hook up another PSU to use for them or would i have to get a new bigger/better PSU? :oops: 8)

A good size pws is a good upgrade for any PC.Go 500.
But i don't think it has more connectors.
It"s more of a motherboard number of connections.
Then theres external usb devices for more.
So investigate motherboard stats.
A Sata board will give you at least 6 connections.
But with todays prices,partition large hard drives.

There's a limit not only in the amount of power you can give to devices from the PSU but also how many devices the mobo can handle. As was stated by grampa, there are external enclosures that will build a raid or allow single drives to be powered. Google is your friend
