if you have a paint sprayer- use oil based paint......never use latex on metel....peales like crazy
otherwise use krylon....it is made to stick to metels but it doesnt stick as well as oil based. if you want i can send pics of my tower i painted 2-3 years ago.

I painted my really old gateway computer the other day with acryllic paint on the front and i used black and white checkerd contact on the sides and red contact on the top. It looks pretty cool, i should take a photo of it.... but what i want to do now is make a window on my case so i can see in and put another case fan in. www.casemodgod.com has lots of good ideas :)

ya iv done a window too. it is way harder than it looks. if you use a jig saw make sure you have an extreamly fine tooth blade and clamp the case down well.

didn't read the thread but i'm actually painting tonight. if the front of the computer is plastic i would use the krylon fusion paint. thats what i'm using. i've used it on paintball hoppers, my truck bumper inserts, and now my old compaq. speaking of which i'm going to start a thread and poll on it later. i'm turning it into a compaq that is actually cool. trick to the fusion paint is applying it in thin coats about half an hour apart. then don't touch it for a couple of days if possible. it cures in stages. that stuff works like a dream.
