Photoshop vs Paint Shop Pro

Postby DnH500 » Wed Oct 06, 2004 11:38 am

I always used paint shop pro 7, now that paint shop pro 8 is out I was thinking about getting a new graphics package. I have heared about Photoshop but have not seen what it can do.

Which of the two would be a better buy, money in mind and overall features (prices from amazon.co.uk):

Paint Shop Pro 8 & Virtual Painter 3 - Amazon Exclusive Bundle
Priced at Ј49.97

or

Photoshop Elements 2.0
Priced at Ј64.99

Both offer options wich the other does not have, but generally Photoshop is more advanced and more complicated.

I agree with you guys that photoshop is better. But I'm against buying software that at $649 costs more than my computer did.
