What browser are you using?

Postby Jonathan » Sat Apr 21, 2007 5:09 am

I am using IE 6.0 for all standard browsing purposes. I use netscape for PayPal and online banking because I have it tweaked for security purposes.

I also have multiple versions of IE and Netscape installed for design testing.

Netscape? I haven't heard that name in a long time.

I use Firefox 2.0.0.3 for all browsing. However when I develop websites I test to make sure my site works properly in Opera and IE as well. In my opinion the only browsers you have to test for these days is IE, Firefox, and Opera. Of course getting things (especially CSS positioning) to work properly in IE can be a pain.

I use internet explorer 7. But fire fox is also great. Recently i came to know about a feature in firefox. Suppose, u ar doing some work in your broser or visiting some site and ur net connection goes off. Then firefox restores ur browsing details atomatically. This feature is really great which even IE do not have.

I'm currently on Opera 9.27 and firefox 2.0.0.14 , but the opera is still the most comfortable, safe, and fast browser i've ever use.

but it's interesting to see what the next Opera 9.50 Will give ;)

I only use firefox this one is best as compare to IE because you can browsing different sites at one time. but in IE you have to use different IE for browsing.

Firefox 3. Has a library of add-ons that let you do just about anything you could possibly need to do on the web, all while using a smaller memory footprint than IE or Opera.

I seriously can’t believe you are using Internet explorer for most of your browsing purposes. I mean come on. Is there anything better than Firefox? I seriously don’t think so. And for what purposes are you using Netscape? No matter how much you tweak, it is still useless. If someone wants to hurt you, he will. Use Firefox from now on. It is always the best!
