Getting cash out of the phone company

Postby lbreevesii » Fri Oct 15, 2004 8:35 am

i've read about a way of doing this, but i was wondering if anyone has tried it. it involves the fact that they have to legally refund your money if you make a call that isn't completed or w/e. i'd have to read it again...point is to call an offshore phone(like a ships phone) which have insainely high rates. you get the rate then call the phone company back and they send you the money...i've just read about it. anybody tried it?

Well it would be easy for the phone co. to see if the call completed or not.

As for a refund I don't know...I worked as a Systems tech for the phone co. for almost 23 yrs but can't ans your question.

my only real question about it working or not is if it will work with the newest systems. you would probably have the best luck with it if you did it in the middle of nowhere. i'll dig up my sheet on it and post it for you guys.
