bios update

im trying to "flash" my bios... but i dont know how or what is needed... can someone please explain to me what it is and how to do it, thx

Go to your motherboard manufactuers website, they will have instructions.

just thought i'd give it a try since my bios is dated 5/04

I say go ahead and update it, but be sure to follow all directions carefully. If you don't know how to flash your BIOS search google with your motherboards model number for help. I would be willing to bet though that at your motherboard manufacturers website their would be instructions. Again follow the instructions carefully, because if something goes wrong you can destroy your motherboard permanetely.
