the XP firewall is almost useless, at least before SP2 it was. But SP2's firewall may be bad still in SP2, I wouldn't know i'm still using SP1 but from what I hear SP2's firewall is supposed to be alot better than SP1's. So I guess I will have to wait and see for myself when I finally install SP2 (if I do).

EDIT: Oh man I didn't realize how old this first post was lol.. oh well

sp2 firewall is better, WATCH OUT THO, i've heard some pretty fu#*ed up stories about sp2....how its "too secure"
