With XP you can enable and disable your firewall with the click of a button... I would keep the XP one..... By the way... Where/How did u get Service Pack 2 and does it mess up ur comp or slow it down? Ive been contempleting whether to get it or not... I know it has alot of security features...

ZoneAlarm is better by far than the XP firewall. Leave ZoneAlarm and disable the MS garbage.

Im gonna wait a while before I get SP2. I've heard that some people have had problems with it. Can't remember what kind of problems, just problems doing general stuff.

What are the security features SP2 is providing?
can we set permissions to folders in NTFS drives using XP SP2?

Some review about ZA firewall :

These products include the award-winning ZoneAlarm PC firewall. With multiple layers of protection, the ZoneAlarm firewall detects, monitors, and prevents hackers from damaging your PC and stealing your identity. With over 30 million users worldwide, ZoneAlarm is the industry-leading PC firewall.

Maybe you made a good choice. Try it out first.
